Mr. Burns Saint Paul Theatre reviews
Alicia played amazingly
I was not impressed with the initial part of Mr. Burns's concert, but I must admit I was eager to see him regardless. The visuals for "You Don't Know My Name", the second song, were a bit distracting – perhaps intentionally so, but they detracted from the song. When his piano was brought out, the show really took off; his beautiful playing was exactly what I had been anticipating. His backup singer did a fine job with her song. He coolly sang and danced "Put It In a Love Song", and his band delivered a fantastic performance, especially towards the song's conclusion. What an incredible artist he truly is, providing the audience with a memorable evening. I found myself leaving the venue singing "No One".
